M62 closed eastbound after crash near Junction 34 – live updates – Hull Live

Motorists are advised to avoid the area while police deal with the ongoing incident
Humberside Police have warned motorists to avoid the M62 eastbound between Junction 34 and Junction 35 following a crash in the area.
Traffic services are reporting delays of up to 17 minutes as emergency services deal with the incident just beyond Junction 34. Traffic at the M18 interchange remains unaffected.
Humberside Police tweeted: "Please be advised of the road closure Eastbound on the M62 between the Junction 34 and 35. We are currently dealing with an ongoing incident. Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible."

An earlier report from the AA traffic service said: "Two lanes closed and slow traffic due to crash on M62 Eastbound after J34 A19 (Selby/Doncaster)."

Traffic has reduced so there are less delays now. The AA reported: "Travel time is around 15 minutes."
Humberside Police tweeted: "Please be aware that one lane is now open on the M62 – Eastbound, between junctions 34 and 35. Traffic is moving slowly as a result."
An updated report from the AA said: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic for three miles due to crash on M62 Eastbound after J34 A19 (Selby / Doncaster). Travel time is around 25 minutes."
A report from the AA traffic service said: "Severe delays of 32 minutes and delays increasing on M62 Eastbound in East Riding Of Yorkshire. Average speed five mph."
National Highways North-East tweeted: "3 lanes are closed on the M62 eastbound between J34 and J35 due to a collision. Emergency Services are on scene. Traffic is passing via the hard shoulder. Please take care past the scene."
